bookie32 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Hi again Just testing Clonezilla at the moment. I have a computer with recovery partition etc..I didn't want to clone that, so the partition I cloned was sda2 with windows Vista Home Edition on it.I then decided to install the image on a new drive and changed the image info saved by clonezilla to reflect that I now am going to install the image on sda1The cloning and installation went well, but on reboot I have a blinking curser......I have gone into the harddrive with Ubuntu and Ubuntu can mount the drive and all folders are there.....I have now run repair, but am still getting the blinking curser.....Has anyone any suggestions? Please don't say shoot myself...already thought of that...LOLbookie32
Tripredacus Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 You need to edit the BCD, which is what Vista uses to know where the OS volume is.
