Do I still need to run sysprep if I am injection drivers into my wim f

I have created a reference image of a Windows 7 image I made with all the settings and software I need for my environment. It is in wim format, this wim is essentially going to go on different types of hardware, I have injected the all the drivers that will be needed for the different types of hardware it will be deployed on to. Would I still have to run sysprep on this image, before making the wim file and injecting the drivers offline via dism?. Also the reference image was built on a Virtual Machine.

Thanks for any advice you can pass my way.

I have setup my reference image, the way I want it with software and the configurations I need. the image was built in a virtual. I then created an image via imagex. The next step I did was inject the drivers via dism into the wim file, these drivers are all the drivers currently in use in our environment, all the different makes and models we have. So your saying I do not need to run sysprep before I make the wim image and inject the drivers offline via dism?

If I do not sysprep the reference image before I make the wim file and inject the drivers offline, after the restore using imagex I get a error of 0xc000000e. Any thoughts as to why?. This is if I DO NOT sysprep the image before creating the wim file.
