mirceabondar Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 hello. We have integrated the Windows Installer 4.5 with the command "d: \ xxx.exe / nobackup / integrate: d: \ xp, but when you install Windows, this update appears in my Add or Remove Programs. How do I not appear.
Tripredacus Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 You can delete the registry key that makes this appear after install. I do not know where these keys are located... my brain is half dried up on XP stuff already.
allen2 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 The registry entry should be under:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Andromeda43 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Duh.....in my own install of XP-Pro-Sp3, that key does not exist. I checked the path twice!!!Wanna give it another try?
Ponch Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Well I can see it. And It contains other keys to each uninstallable software indeed.
