Desactivate detection USB install Winxp

Good evening

For silent installation Win xp , i want to put C: D: E: to 3 partitions on my disk. But during silent install the system give letter D: and E: to amovibles drive (card reader) connected via port Usb on motherboard.

and partitions disk is on H: and i: letter .

Have you an idea or solution , to my probleme.

I think this solution, if i disable usb detection in file install Winxp , may be is the solution

But for that i must modify file in package installation winxp .

is person know that i must modify file and what file ?

Not tested, try edit txtsetup.sif: don't load usbstor.

Presuming that works, other USB devices such as keyboard and mouse should not work either. When I get a system with one of these card readers (presuming not a notebook) and I have to use an XP CD on it, I just unplug the card reader from the USB header on the motherboard.

I had thought that usbstor.sys ONLY dealt with usb (mass) storage devices ....

A possible alternate solution is using a migrate.inf file:
