So i followed all the instructions, made the USB bootable. But one i got to the menu(once windows xp has loaded all the drivers) where you select what partition to install to-it doesnt show my netbooks(acer one D250) hardrive.

it only shows the flashdisk.

Initially i thought it was because it was formatted to ext4, so i deleted the partition but it still didnt see the unpartitioned space..

anyone able to help me out here?

Is the internal drive SATA?

Have you integrated the proper driver?

Have you a setting in BIOS for "IDE emulation mode" or something like that?

Try removing the flash card, most probably you will have a BSOD 0x000007b.
