clivebuckwheat, you need to tell us what you are trying to do and with what. This forum is titled "Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2". I am not even aware that DISM is usable on XP or that XP .wim files exist. I use DISM on W7 x64 with the /recurse switch to inject several drivers from one folder. Enjoy, John.

XP images in WIM format are not servicable in any version of the WAIK. You can only do offline servicing (such as driver injection) with Vista, 7 and 2008 images.
