Tripredacus Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 How are you installing the programs? Are you using a script?
behdadsoft Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Yes, I use script for install programs.I put programs this Address :sources\$OEM$\$$\SETUP\SCRIPTSand write Commands to run Install Application in to SETUPCOMPLETE.CMD. For example , To install the programs I use this Command."%SYSTEMROOT%\setup\scripts\Adobe Photoshop CS4.exe"
Tripredacus Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I don't think CS4 makes a shortcut on the desktop by default. I've installed it twice and did not get icons. You should look to see if there are any switches, or if you can define a custom ISS (if IS) to get icons to show up.
behdadsoft Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 Yes, I know that is not making Photoshop ShortCut,I installed it as a portable with Winrar and I've made for the ShortCut.Photoshop my example to say that I have a problem with most programs. For example:Nero Adobe Acrobat and a few other applications that none are as portable and can be installed as normal but do not make Shortcut.
behdadsoft Posted June 27, 2010 Author Posted June 27, 2010 Who can to help? Everything about editing the Windows've done just this problem remains.
Tripredacus Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Nero doesn't make a shortcut either... You can create shortcuts in C:\Users\Public\Desktop for them to appear after setup.
behdadsoft Posted June 29, 2010 Author Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) Hi Tripredacus,Thanks your answer. My first programs installed on your system , Then ShortCuts created on desktop using Winrar S. F. X and I installed them on this path I.C: \ Users \ Public \ Desktopbut at runtime I was confronted with this message. Edited June 29, 2010 by behdadsoft
Tripredacus Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Did you look at the Application Event Log as stated in the error? You usually get this message if you are missing a VCRedist.
