I have Seagate 320 external HDD i tried installing windows xp in it through Usb Multiboot using this tutorial

but after all the process when i boot through my hdd in 'Txt mode setup Windows Xp'

It goes well then at the place where we select drive letter, i select C: then it give me a Error "Setup cannot create the folder: \WINDOWS"

Wait a minute.

You want to:

  1. install XP ON a USB Hard Disk Drive (meaning that you want later to boot and run XP FROM the USB hard disk drive)
    OR
  2. install XP FROM a USB Hard Disk Drive (meaning that you want later to boot and run FROM an internal hard disk drive)

Please choose one of the above.
