I downloaded the latest beta and it does not contain any of these documents. Are they available somewhere?

No, the file is in the "stable" release 0.2.3.

At the moment the Beta is, well, Beta ;).

You need to follow the evolution of it on the board.

The general idea is that you should get familiar with latest "stable" BEFORE attempting using the Beta.

I noticed that when users report problems the first question is usually "are you using the latest beta?", so I thought I'd start with that. I'll see if I can muddle through it.
