breadandbubbles Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 (edited) is there a way to verify a disc thats already been burned, with it source disc image on the hdd?i copied a disc as a disc image on my HDD, and burned the image, but forgot to verify it. i closed the program, but i wanted to know, is there a way i can verify it after the fact? via Nero, or Imgburn, or something else? im running Win. 7 64-bit. submix8c Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 (edited) Specifically, "Verify Against Image File"?edit - haven't tried this and not sure exactly how/how-much it compares, i.e. the data in each block (e.g. CRC flags).edit2 - confirmed! scenario -1 - write CD1 from ISO1 using Nero2 - write CD2 from ISO1 using Nero3 - create ISO2 from CD2 using DVDInfo4 - Verify CD1 against ISO2 using ImgBurn (fairly fast)It appears to work just fine (strictly sector-by-sector compare).
