yon
Hi everyone, I have an annoying problem. I am doing my record with HFSLP and after using nlite and make the iso there is always the same problem after installation. Updating KBwindowsxp-kb905474-enu-x86.exe ( WGA ), not install. When I get on windows update, I downloaded activex and 0x80070bc2 the error appears and asks me to restart. I reboot and I can do the updates. I would like to analyze my log in the hope that you help me identify the problem. Thanks.HFSLIP Version - 1.7.9, build 091109HFSLIP Path - C:\HFSLIP\OS in SOURCESS - Windows XP Professional SP3 Portuguese (Brazil)Drivers - DRIVER.CAB UpdatedCD Install Path - DefaultCDTAG - tommyp
Try running mim0's hotfix checker to clean up your hotfixes (if any). It's probably worthwhile to remove the "extras" to verify that your basic hotfix install is smooth before running additional items. One final note, let's concentrate on getting hfslip to work for you correctly, before you start nliting it. There's and old adage, we must learn to walk before we can run. bphlpt
I totally agree with tommyp. Let's get things working with HFSLIP only without nLite, and probably best to pretty much empty your HFSVCPACK, HFSVCPACK_SW1, and HFSVCPACK_SW2 folders to try and figure out where this error is coming from. It's very telling to me that since it says you need KBwindowsxp-kb905474-enu-x86.exe (English) while very clearly you have added in what appears to be all the correct updates in Portuguese that something is messed up. It's just a matter of finding out the culprit. Please let us know if you find out where the problem was.Cheers and RegardsPS: Mimo's File Checker is a great tool! yon
Friends, the problem is in nlite. If I make the image, without using nlite and it works. The strange thing is that not retreat virtually nothing. I already reinstalled the program, redid everything but the problem continues. If I could do everything like HFSLIP but I do not know how to take things like keyboard and additional languages, and other things. I'll redo it again and I'm here to report what I found
bphlpt
Well, at least you identified the culprit! You probably ought to post your question on their forum, too, to see if they have any idea what nLite did that causes MU/WU to think you need an English update. Hopefully it's something simple. Keep us informed.Cheers and Regards Edited December 23, 2009 by bphlpt
yon
Oh, God. Now if I turn on the OEM folders nlite installation does not continue in the virtual machine. I download the previous version of nlite. This is giving me many problems. In the first few days after having errors discovered nlite reinstalling solved the problem. Now a different problem. Actually I could install but only using the nlite in stages. If you make any changes and makes the iso gives error. What is missing for me is to go to windows update and go straight to "optional or custom." No way to do this? I wonder also how to change the regedit wmp11 to skip those steps flat configuration. Thanks.PS _ As I said above bphlpt already got my iso with all the hotfix and software. Still has some small problems. Once you've gotten inform. Tanks.
