The File-Checker (HFSLIPFC) for HFSLIP

Featured Replies

Note that the KB2698365 update (MS12-045) does NOT replace the KB2419632 update, because KB2419632 contains an additional "odbc32.dll" file.

And there is one Office 2003 update release this month:

KB2598361 MS12-046 (replaces KB976382 in MS10-031)

KB2481109 09.03.2011

mstsc.exe (6.0.6001.18589 - 27.01.2011)

mstscax.dll (6.0.6001.18589 - 02.02.2011)

This ('KB2481109') HF folder, we add the update;

mstsc.exe (6.0.6001.22840 )

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2481109

2481109 is a very old update, why are you mentioning it now?

Hi guys,

I'm back from holiday and will update the file-checker asap!

Mimo

KB2719985 not integrated HF

but SW1 integrate

@rulman:it works, already tried it.

Made my updated CD, installed on a VM and MU only wanted the genuine notification crap, which I leave out intentionally.

try again!

bye!

PS: i'm talking with 2719985 in the HF folder.

2719985 replaces these two updates: 973687, 2079403.

So if rulman integrated 973687 or 2079403 after 2719985, the update would be undone.

Hey Mim0, how did you manage to find a current WindowsXP-KB892130-ENU-x86.exe (Windows Genuine Advantage Validation)?

@Mim0

This reg file can be used instead of KB2603381 (HFSVCPACK_SW1):

Windows2000-XP-2003-KB2603381-x86-XXX.reg

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce]
"KB2603381"="cmd.exe /c \"reg.exe ADD HKCR\\Package\\protocol\\StdFileEditing\\server /ve /d %systemroot%\\system32\\packager.exe /f\""

2719985 replaces these two updates: 973687, 2079403.

So if rulman integrated 973687 or 2079403 after 2719985, the update would be undone.

that's probably what happened. I can ASSURE you that putting 2719985 in HF folder works just fine.

@Mim0

This reg file can be used instead of KB2603381 (HFSVCPACK_SW1):

Windows2000-XP-2003-KB2603381-x86-XXX.reg

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce]
"KB2603381"="cmd.exe /c \"reg.exe ADD HKCR\\Package\\protocol\\StdFileEditing\\server /ve /d %systemroot%\\system32\\packager.exe /f\""

Why are you calling reg.exe from inside a reg file??? why not just add the registry value directly?

@jvidal

Because it's necessary to get the real value for %systemroot%. If you put %systemroot% in the reg file it will add it as "%systemroot%" while here it's required to be added as the real path.

You can check the difference yourself between the one above (correct) and this one (incorrect):

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce]
"KB2603381"="reg.exe ADD HKCR\\Package\\protocol\\StdFileEditing\\server /ve /d %systemroot%\\system32\\packager.exe /f"
