cd rom change

I have a Compaq Presario CQ60-215DX Notebook PC and it don't have the lightscribe burner in it but i have a Hp G60-230OUS Notebook and would like to change the cd drives in it and was wondering it that will work or not.

Windows won't really care one way or the other. But both drives might have different connectors. In this case, it doesn't hurt to try. Just be careful if you have to take anything apart.

yes wish i could find the manuals on these LOL but haven't had any luck on it.
