Lets see if i can help.

1. Show networm map button.

In a window (for example. My computer, you have a row right below the adresfield (if thats whats its called)

Checking that box will make sure a button to map network drives is always there.

In my computer harddrives or shared media on other computers, will show up as regular harddrives on YOUR computer so you dont have to enter \\path to shared media all the time.

2. Checkbox button.

This will actually add small boxes (like the one in 7C on your picture) so you can select files and folders without holding ctrl button.

3. Always show menus.

Easy one eh? Shows menus all the time so you dont have to press "alt" button in a window (my computer for example).

4. Do not prompt.

Seems like it doesnt asks you to open a webpage when opening a file that doesnt have a defualt program to open it with.

Im pretty sure im right, but if other has something to add then its best to do so hehe.

hi every one

i managed to integrate some themes to my windows 7 installation (downloaded from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-XM/windows/downloads/personalize?T1=themes). her is the way it have been done

1- extract themepack file using 7z

will have a theme file and DesktopBackground folder and maybe some wav and png files

2- rename DesktopBackground folder to some thing close to the theme file

example: Bing's Best theme the file Bing's Be.theme folder renamed to Bing

3- edit theme file with Notepad then find all "DesktopBackground" and replace with "%systemroot%\Resources\Themes\bing"

and then find and delete the line that starts with ImagesRootPIDL under [slideshow] (it will be very longe it may take 2 to 3 lines)

4- save and copy both file and folder to %systemroot%\Resources\Themes or to mountdir\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes

i hope it is not an old method, but i just know it and i wanted to share it and maybe it will help blue creating theme integrating support for 7C.

Wow, I came on here just to say thanks for writing a great tool and to suggest a few features that would be nice to have and all I see in recent posts is drama. Max... this app is FREEWARE. The guy works FOR FREE. If you are so upset about him needing to take a break to do real life stuff then go make your own tool.

That said...

Hmmm... looks like most of the feature requests I had are already on the list of To Do stuff in the first post.

Actually, one note that I'll make is about the problem that the app seems to have with spaces in directory names (ie: "C:\Windows 7" rather than C:\Windows7)... why not just build into the utility that it always includes quotes around all paths? That way you can handle the spaces just fine and if there aren't any spaces it doesn't hurt anything.

Im pretty sure its not hard creating a folder named 7c or 7work on a drive, since the app IS portable.

Altho im not sure how "hard" it is to do that, make it able to understand the white spaces in path..

No, I get it that its not hard to do the dev on my end with no spaces (I just use a _ as a space), just tossing out an idea. Are there any plans to make this project open source?

Open source?

He said in his first post somewhere that he might release the sourcecode if there is enough interest in 7C.

I'd personally would love to help developing 7C if i could.

Can I save progress that I done with the program?

You can save a presetfile with most of the stuff saved but not everything.
