Good quad core CPU/memory monitoring utility?

I'm looking for something graphical to sit in the corner of my screen which will tell me CPU usage for each of the 4 cores and also what my memory usage is. Something useful, yet easy to view at a glance. Other statistics available a plus but not necessary.

Thanks!

Process Explorer? Sits nicely in the tray, and you can configure what it displays there.

How do you get it to do as the OP asks (CPU usage for each core on his/her 4 core system)? I notice in my experience that the Performance tab of Task Manager does a better job in that regard....

Last time I checked, you could enable it in options. By default it shows one graph for all CPUs, but it can display all.

http://addgadget.com/ if you don't mind it being a desktop gadget.

This is the exact kind of thing I'm looking for (a desktop gadget)! However it says it's only supported on Vista and Windows 7. I'm running XP 64-bit :(. Will this work or is there anything else I could use?

The download link is on the front page.

There are lots of themes you can try. Not sure if any are pre-built for quad-cores. But it is easy to adjust the WMI settings to display all cores.
