Pinacle card not working with Vista

I have an old pinnacle capture card that came with Pinnacle Studio Version 7. I can't get the drive to install on vista. It used to install through windows update with vista, but not anymore. I know the card still works because I put it in my mom's desktop that has windows xp pro a few days ago and it installed perfectly. Is there any way to make the driver install work on vista? BTW....I'm running 64-bit vista home premium with sp1.

That PCI card came out in 1998, back when most people were still using Windows 95 on their Pentium 1's. It's going on 12 years old. And you expect to find 64 bit drivers for it?

Newegg has several cards that cost $25 or less, have more inputs, better video quality (that 15 year old SAA7110A chip isn't exactly great by today's standards), and even come with a remote. There's even a PCI-e card in that price range...

Hey Coffeefiend,

I didn't realize that the card was that old. I just got it last year at a PC repair shop for about $20. I was told that it was made around the time xp came out. Oh well, case closed. I'll just throw it away.
