Can't type "open bracket, shift + 9". Shortcut binding p

Featured Replies

I noticed I couldn't type capital L 'cos it was bound for Launchy as Shift + L. Now I can't type open bracket, shift + 9. Don't know what program has taht shortcut. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think "Shift+any key" can be associated to a shortcut. They all include Ctrl or/and Alt. You must have a problem with your keyboard or its configuration. What happens when you type "[" ? Nothing ?

I forgot to mention that I am using Win 7.

The ( key -- is working now. cool!

Don't know what happens from time to time.

But as I said, it did happen. I set Shift + L in Launchy as shortcut/hotkey and I couldn't write capital L anymore for as long as Launchy was running, no matter whether in the background or foreground.

Similarly, I couldn't type "(" at the time when I was posting this thread.
