I need that to be realy in sure after accident I had.3)Openfiler was pretty hard to use, so I wont something easier;4)Good performance, of course.I realy need your professional opinion! Thanks for now! tain
unRAID is cool, but no iSCSI. Your best software-only option is probably FreeNAS.
JanisBalderis
Yeah, unRAID is cool, but actualy I would prefer iSCSI solution. I looked what FreeNAS is - i would better use Openfiler, what I`m migrating off from.
jaclaz
But are you looking for a freebie or for a Commercial solution? If the second:http://www.open-e.com/products/jaclaz
JanisBalderis
I`m looking for commercial solution, but open-e is no good for me - I need my server not as storage only, and actually I would prefer Windows based solution. Thank you anyway. Edited September 15, 2009 by JanisBalderis

JanisBalderis
Hi all!I`ve tested Datacore - that`s why it took so long. My points are:1)Openfiler/FreeNAS - no good for me;2)Lefthand - good but expensive;3)Datacore - not bad, but too.. no not like that. It`s TOO COMPLICATED3)StarWind - I like it.Thank for all of your responses.
