IMO I enjoy the modding community that exists for certain games. I wouldn't play any game on a console that can be modded on the PC. For me, consoles are only good for sports games, racing and ones that use similar controls from the 8/16bit days. Anything 1st person I need to use a mouse for. With exception to the Dreamcast, getting a mouse and keyboard to work is pretty tough. Or games like Starcraft should not have ever been made on the N64.

They each have their uses. There is no single system that should be the king over the other.

The Wii should get votes for the Homebrewchannel + Usbloader + starfall = the ability to have a channel to play 'backups' off usb storage with no risk of catching an update that depricates functionality.
