Chosen1985 Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Hello guys, last week I tried in vain to install SP2 but I got this message after it tried to install it: Some changes could not be completed. Will retry on startupSo....again it tried and I got this further message: Service pack did not install. Reverting changes It seems lots of people are having the same problem or similar how do i fix this? please help guys
Tripredacus Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Is the update the same language as the OS? Also how are you installing it, downloaded the file or using Windows Updates. Lastly, did you vLite your Vista install?

TheReasonIFail Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Have you tried looking in event viewer? It may give you a more detailed reason as to why it failed?
