Is there any way to restore ZIP Folders functionality ?

Hi there,

I was wondering if there is any way to manually restore the ZIP folders functionality for Windows Vista SP2 after installation (used vLite to remove ZIP Folders from setup).

Maybe adding some files and some registry keys (which I could get from another installation of Vista). Or is it more complicated than that ?

I would apreciate any help on this matter.

Did that, but unfortunately it is not enough.

After adding the registry keys, zip files are shown as folders (they appear in the folder list) but when I try to access them the contents are not shown (you click on the zip folder and nothing happens).

Maybe there are some files that have been removed as well and adding registry keys is not enough.

It also needs Zipfldr.dll, which nLite probably ditched. Copy it from a pristine source to %windir%\system32 and then register the dll, by typing regsvr32 /u %windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll in a cmd-prompt. ;)
