July 12, 200917 yr Hi there,First off, I am running Win ME on an old Compaq. I have not had this thing updated for about 6 years so everything is out of date. I downloaded the avail updates from MS, but many things are no longer avail for ME. This work around will be so helpful to me! However, I am NOT computer saavy....Is there anywhere I can get DETAILED instructions on installing this all correctly? (By detailed, I mean step-by-step so that a 5 year old could understand it). My basic knowledge so far is that I need to install unicode from MS, then this Kernelex. After reading through the threads, that is still pretty much all I understand LOL. I know it sounds easy for you techies, but I did try on my own w/no luck. (One of the installations even asks where I want to install it...I have no idea!!! ). Please, please help me out!!Thank you!!!!
July 12, 200917 yr Download Unicows here :http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/7...642/unicows.exeInstall it and then instal KernelEx and that's it.PS : Maybe you want to have a look at the Unofficial Windows ME service pack as well if you want to update your system.
