Hello everyone and greetings from Portugal!

I'm using MDT 2010 Beta 2 to deploy (litetouch way) Windows 7.

Like almost everyone said here, the deployment process is pretty much like Windows Vista but, I'm having just a trouble for skiping a step.

After installing it asks me for the serial number and if I want to active Windows after going Online.

I don't want to put any serial because in the future I'll use KMS to activate Windows.

Is there anyway to skip this step?

I've been told that there is no way to skip it on the Professional version of Windows 7, only Enterprise (which is not in the RC!).

Until the release of the Enterprise version of W7 you will have to go through the proccess of entering a serial number, once RTM is reached and the enterprise version is released you will be able to build a sequence without a serial number (my bet is it won't be asked anymore like with server 2008 and R2)

Actually you can... You need a little jelly bean keyfinder tool to get the used product key with your normal install (do not enter a product key, it uses one internally anyway), the key the tool finds can be used in your answer file
