Nlite Crashes/ stops responding!

1. when i use nlite, and i choose the folder which my os is in NLITE FREZZES!

2.when i try to install the os from the cd i get a blue screen. when i disable the sata drivers it then works (the install) but then i have to reenable them and then when i boot i get a blue screen and i was wondering if nlite does anything to stop this

What is this? I have never heard of it. When nLite freezes at the get go, it usually means you do not have .Net installed or not installed properly. How did you create a CD if nLite freezes? I don't know what you mean by "disable/reeenable" SATA drivers - please explain. Also, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. You should also change your topic title to something more descriptive of your problems. Enjoy, John.

i reinstalled .net framework and nope doesnt work. what i mean with the sata drivers is that when i try to install any version of xp (most) i get a blue screen telling me an error message. and then it stops the install. to be able to install it i have to go to my ios and disable them (put em in compatability mode---thats the option that i have) but because its like that i dont get internet or sounds etc.. so i have to re enable the sata drives but when i do BAM i get a blue screen after xp loads

AlexDahNoob, again, please edit your first post and change the title. What version of nLite are you running and where did you get it? If you did not get it from the nLite web site, then go there and DL another copy. Check the MD5 hash, remove nLite using Add/Remove, then install the new one. It does take some time for nLite to scan your source, so please wait before killing it. Does it hang on the very first screen, second, etc? Let us know what you learn. Enjoy, John.

look i have the prolem in this post http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=120942

and ithe version is a downloaded version that completely cuts out everything (its only 300mb) and i need nlite to put in my sata drivers (into the ISO) because when ever i try to install this version i get a blue screen because of my sata drivers

also when i pick the folder with the installation files ( the xp folder--extracted) it loads up everything until size which is where ir frezzes. and i have left it for about an hour and no results

It's really what you get for downloading warez.

Those are full of bad code and some contain malicious software in it.

Plus it is illegal.

(Performance Ed. is a LOOOONG known warez version.)

not really much diferent from just using nlite to remove programs and files in the actual xp install. it says under their terms of service that

4. LIMITATIONS ON REVERSE ENGINEERING, DECOMPILATION, AND DISASSEMBLY. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.

so dont come talking that bull to me cause u know u also have a bunch of warez and songs illegally in your computer

well to fix that u need to start with a fresh untouched source or nlite will have problems

and nilte doesnt work if u have put a keygen serial in for unattended installs

No wonder he's having problems; I found this edition through google. Did you know it's made WITH nLite? they even offer the presets (Last_Session.ini)
