Visual Basic .NET 2005/2008

Hi, Is there any way to run VB.NET2005/2008 express on win98se?

I have been wanting to do some programming and have been using VB5 however someone else is using VB2008 and there are now code differences, so I was trying to install VB2008 on 98 but iit failed and ntdll and 2005 bypasses the version check with kex however crashes when it tries to run sitesetup.dll

Can anyone help me?

I don't think VB.NET2005/2008 runs on win98 at all.
