hellbringer616 Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 As the title says, I would like to know if i need the sata drivers as well as the nvidia drivers? I have a mcp61pm-am board which says i need nvidia drivers.
johnhc Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 hellbringer616, with so little information, I can only guess. And my guess is yes. There is a sticky above that discusses nVidia drivers. If you are installing on a SATA and/or RAID, then the answer is absolutely. You can install other drivers after install. Please make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John.
hellbringer616 Posted April 7, 2009 Author Posted April 7, 2009 Alright, will try with and without the intel drivers and post back with results
GrofLuigi Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 You need NVidia drivers for that board (if it's the ECS that pops on google). And I've never seen a board with mixed NVidia/Intel controllers. So I'd say it's pretty safe (and even desirable) to omit Intel drivers. GL
hellbringer616 Posted April 8, 2009 Author Posted April 8, 2009 Alright thanks.And it's elitegroup, But it's the same board i'm sure.
