kahlil88
Are there any free (as in "beer" and/or "speech") programs that will allow me to write UDF images to disc or convert them to something else like ISO? I've tried CDBurnerXP, InfraRecorder and DAEMON Tools with no success.

puntoMX
I use mostly winRAR to unpack a file and burn it after that, but I don't know if it can open an UDF image. Besides that, it works on Windows 7 .

Wish me luck!
kahlil88
My mistake! It's actually a UIF image, which apparently is a proprietary format used by MagicISO.
DigeratiPrime
^ I will fix the topic title for us The following freeware claims to convert UIF to other image formats such as ISOhttp://aluigi.altervista.org/mytoolz.htmBTW the author has an article on history of MagicISO and evidence of GPL code theft http://aluigi.altervista.org/misc/magiciso_gpl_violation.txtAnd I am not sure but IsoBuster, might be able to open it. There is a limited free version.http://www.isobuster.com/license-models.php
kahlil88
The following freeware claims to convert UIF to other image formats such as ISOhttp://aluigi.altervista.org/mytoolz.htmThanks, I'll have to try it some time. I mounted the UIF with MagicISO and copied the "disc" to an ISO with InfraRecorder. Seems to work, but is a few hundred MB smaller...maybe UIF is just a compressed format.BTW the author has an article on history of MagicISO and evidence of GPL code theft http://aluigi.altervista.org/misc/magiciso_gpl_violation.txtInteresting...perhaps we should notify the Software Freedom Law Center?
