Componant removal questions

I am working on a computer thats old, And it will ONLY be used to playing old kids games for my younger brother, It will never connect to the internet, So would it be safe to remove everything in the "Network" Section of the components list?

Also, I really don't wanna have to call MS to activate Windows when it'll never need to connect to the internet for updates or anything. Is there a way i can remove the need to do that?

EDIT: Just thought, Is it even legal to remove the Windows activation? If not please disregard that i said that.
