Using VLite without a Vista DVD

Hi,

I lost my Vista DVD :wacko:

Is there a way to create a DVD with VLite by using the Vista Recovery partition?

Thanks for spporting a noob :rolleyes:

And I really mean noob, please describe itdetailed how to use the partition.

There is no way you can make a new Vista DVD from the recovery partition, it's hidden and only be accessed either by a cd/dvd or through one of the options when you boot up the computer, which will give you the option recover your pc to factory state.

Sorry to say this, but if you've lost your Vista DVD disc then there is no other way but to buy a new one.

I wouldn't be so pessimistic. :)

Many things depend on the type of the recovery partition and on what files are in it, in other words which brand/make/model is the actual PC.
