RAR files ?

Featured Replies

Hi... I have this program which is split into 5 rar files , is there some way to put these rar files into one single file ?

Thanks

extract the files out of the first part usually then you just rezip the files as you see fit.

And if you don't want to install Winrar (but I guess you have it so you could use your unpacked file), there are portable programmes like "Izarc2go".

You don't even have to install WinRAR, just copy the directory from someone/somewhere, run it and set file associations.

Like others have said, you'll have to extract the files from the split archive and re-archive them into a single file.

You can either get the 40-day trial of WinRAR, or you can use something free like 7-zip. Simply double-click on the .rar file itself (the others should be .r01, .r02, etc) and extract the contents to a temporary directory. The extracting program will know how to deal with the multiple files.

After that's done, use the program you've downloaded to create a new archive. :)
