February 16, 200917 yr Hi... I have this program which is split into 5 rar files , is there some way to put these rar files into one single file ? Thanks Edited February 16, 200917 yr by TerryFox
February 16, 200917 yr extract the files out of the first part usually then you just rezip the files as you see fit.
February 16, 200917 yr And if you don't want to install Winrar (but I guess you have it so you could use your unpacked file), there are portable programmes like "Izarc2go".
February 17, 200917 yr You don't even have to install WinRAR, just copy the directory from someone/somewhere, run it and set file associations.
February 17, 200917 yr Like others have said, you'll have to extract the files from the split archive and re-archive them into a single file. You can either get the 40-day trial of WinRAR, or you can use something free like 7-zip. Simply double-click on the .rar file itself (the others should be .r01, .r02, etc) and extract the contents to a temporary directory. The extracting program will know how to deal with the multiple files. After that's done, use the program you've downloaded to create a new archive.
February 17, 200917 yr Personally, my favourite archive app is PeaZip, but for splitting and joining tasks FFSJ is good.
