Hi there

I'm hoping you can help me - I am trying to reinstall the OpSys on my Asus Eee using USB MultiBoot 10 and keep coming across the same problem. This is the steps I have so far.

I have formatted my 2Gb USB key using the HP formatter (formatted as standard to NTFS)

I have selected my nLite'd version of XP (from my Ghost drive) with no problems.

NOW THE PROBLEMS START

The next step is to select my USB Target. I'm selecting the USB key I have previously formatted BUT it keeps telling me that:

"J: has NOT FAT FAT32 or NTFS Format and is NOT Valid"

It has done this, so far with three different USB keys (1 x 2gb, 1 x 8gb and 1 x 256mb (just for testing))

I cannot get any further with the program because of this and its really beginning to frustrate me

If anyone can give me ANY advice (other than throwing the useless Eee out of the window) I would be really grateful.

USB_MultiBoot_10.cmd is NOT able to identify the Target Drive as a Valid Drive.

This is due to that the program has no access to fsutil.exe

Should be present in C:\WINDOWS\system32

If fsutil is in C:\WINDOWS\system32 then you can try the solution described by ilko_t

Extract this archive, say in c:\FIXPATH, open cmd in that folder and run FIXPATH.EXE or just use explorer to run it, let it finish, reboot and try again USB_multiboot script. Please report if that helped.
