Thx zorro1.

I hadn't included 2.0 SP1 hotfix for this MS09-061 security bulletin, in the guide, and the one for 1.1 SP1 was maked for 2K/XP only but actually is for 2K3 too. (Look for KB953297 in the guide for both cases).

Fixed now.

Pasha_ZZZ I've rewritten restricted hotfixes code, bug is fixed.

I've changed firefox add-ons switches names to -noff.... to be more accurate as this features are installed to IE . A bug not creating XBAP switch is fixed also.

ver 20091224, all the hotfixes integrated now fine, but

DBDAWN. You must add msxml6-KB973686-enu-x86.exe (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=819352df-cffa-413a-94d1-6213927137f6).

Hello,

I have a problem with the most recent SNM script (20091224). During processing of the KB963707 update (for .NET 3.5 SP1) an error occurs with code 2727, and the package is not built correctly (way too small compared to previous runs). See attached screenshot.

Settings deviating from default .ini file:

DNF35FFXBAPPLUGIN=NO

DNF35FFCLICKONCEEXT=NO

Thanks for investigating!

Tomalak

Ah, yeah, now I see, you already reported this.

According to Microsoft the error 2727 means "The directory entry '[2]' does not exist in the Directory table."

Seems that something is broken in one of the transform files...

Problem persists with most recent version (20091229). The MS API error in the cmd window is gone now, but the message window with the 2727 error is still there...

New version released.

Bugs fixed, see changelog.

Thx for reporting!

I added KB886903 to the guide, I forgot to include it. Also restricted NDP30SP2-KB954743-x86.exe was added in past weeks and I didn't report it here.

I couldn't recreate that error box. Can you check again?

strel here is my processdata.txt file when I get the error

When I added msxml6-KB973686-enu-x86.exe to my folder i do not get that error anymore.

Thanks to exomorf for pointing that out to me.

Also the latest version fixes the "the system cannot find the path specified" error. Thanks!

Of course, here it is. I also played with the settings (e.g. including WIC and MSXML6 for .Net 3.0, as it is default), but that didn't change anything. Note that I'm building a German version of the packages - using corresponding files for the hotfixes - on a Windows XP Professional. Any more information or help I can give?

Hope that helps to recreate the error :(

Hi Strel

I encountered an error when building all in one installer with snmsynth 20091229:

despite of that, the installer was builded, not tested
