Bluescreen when slipstreaming

Hi,

I tried to vLite my vista business x64. I ended up removing to much and couldn't get my network connection working. I installed a clean untouched Vista and wanted to make another iso. When I now try to slipstream I almost immediately after clicking "run file" get a BSOD. I've tried recopying the files from the vista iso (which is legal, I got it from my uni) and redownloading the SP1 installer. I also tried doing the slipstreaming on another harddrive. Nothing helped.

could be the virus scanner. try switching it off

Yeah I can try, but it was on when I slipstreamed the first time as well.

the WIM filterdriver sometimes crashes when a antivirus tool is installed. Please uninstall your one before using vLite

By the way, I just remembered something. Last time when I slipstreamed, I installed the whole WAIK thingy. This time I only downloaded the files I really need. Could that be a problem?

I found this in the dump file:

Could that be the issue?

Now I installed the full WAIK, reinstalled vLite and uninstalled avast. Now it works. The problem now is that I have no way of finding out what really was the problem.

Uninstalling Avast did the job
