imn2it Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 How does one archive Windows Updates?Tired of downloading updates every time I reinstall xp on one of my pcs.Plus some day MS will quite supporting XP and there will be no updates available and they'll just tell me to upgrade my old rundown pc to the latest MS OS that my PC won't run, so next time i upgrade, it's linux. Personally, I normally only bother with the service pack b/c it's easier to let it run for the remaining updates while I'm doing something else. Either one may do as they download directly from Microsoft. Autopatcher only works with SP3 - don't remember whether WUD will do them for pre-SP3 or not.
