Any way to Archive Windows Updates?

How does one archive Windows Updates?

Tired of downloading updates every time I reinstall xp on one of my pcs.

Plus some day MS will quite supporting XP and there will be no updates available and they'll just tell me to upgrade my old rundown pc to the latest MS OS that my PC won't run, so next time i upgrade, it's linux.

Or use HFSLIP to slipstream them, once you get them downloaded, to create an updated XP source. Personally, I normally only bother with the service pack b/c it's easier to let it run for the remaining updates while I'm doing something else.

Autopatcher or Windows Updates Downloader (second is the link you find in beat's post topic-link). Either one may do as they download directly from Microsoft. Autopatcher only works with SP3 - don't remember whether WUD will do them for pre-SP3 or not.
