MY desktop computer running windows xp home, has a wireless card in it. I'm trying to run an ethernet cord from my computer to another computer to get internet on the other desk top running the same operating system.. can anybody help? or is it possible to do that?

Also, if you aren't using a switch or router, and just a cable connecting the two computers, you are going to need a crossover cable.
