MY desktop computer running windows xp home, has a wireless card in it. I'm trying to run an ethernet cord from my computer to another computer to get internet on the other desk top running the same operating system.. can anybody help? or is it possible to do that?

when my pc starts it shows a black screen and says windows xp pro twice how do i get rid of it so i dont have to press enter to start it up.. i was it normal start up

its from a rentacenter place i called but they said they cant help with it... there is no way i can get around it because i need to run a windows xp disk to put windows on it

I have a compaq m-2000 notebook, when i start it up a black screen comes up that says start winows normal or safe mode and stuff like that.. i try to load a windows xp disk in but it wont work because there is a password in the bios and i dont know what it is... it gets stuck at that 1 screen... anyone help?

i installed windows xp pro sp2 and my modem drivers wont install or work but it detects it and my audio drivers wont work what could be wrong??

on a 98 disk how do u make it so the serial number is in the disk so u dont have to keep typing it in?

yes i got boot setting enable and there are no pci cards in it im installing it on a blank harddrive the harddrive that was in it went bad and would not load windows 98 so i put it in another computer and formatted it put it back in the one im tryting to put xp on and it dont work comes up as a fatal error or something...

when i install windows xp on a 98 machine it doesnt work the pc wont boot up so im trying to load it on a blank harddrive im doing everything right its just not working and its not the harddrive cause it works in my other pc it just wont work with that 1 computer for some reason would could be wrong??? i fromatted it as fat32 could that be the problem or?

i slipstreamed sp2 on my windows xp pro cd now it says its to big for the cd?? why would that happen is there away to make it alittle bit smaller so it will fit?
