Display Properties glitch

There is a problem in my Display Properties control applet, specifically under the "Advanced Appearance" Option under the "Appearance" tab:

As you can see, the "Selected" menu item does not reflect the settings that I actually set. It's supposed to show you what your setting are supposed to look like.

Any ideas?

This could be caused by

-bad display drivers

-non standard XP install (like nLited disc)

-use of a non standard theme.

Selected Items isn't in the preview picture. Not all options are in the preview for some reason.
