RP7 boot up animated

Featured Replies

I've installed Uberskin and i want same animated boot up logo included in RP7

It's possible?

Thanks to all

i don't think it is, since RP7 installs WLL.COM also. and you cannot install individual parts of RP7 on their own. i am not sure about this though

AFAIK, it is as simple as copying WLL.COM to Windows's folder, and HEX editing both IO.SYS and COMMAND.COM to replace every instance of WIN.COM with WLL.COM. Oh, btw, copying the logo to its appropriated place would be good also

Check this thread, please. If the link to the end of it is still available, you'll find an installer for WLL.COM in the package. Make sure you read the documentation carefully.

You may use the original WLL.COM from RP7, if you so want, but if you plan on creating your own logo, LogoTool won't work for it.

It seems that alexanrs explained the whole procedure... It as simple as that.

Yeah and WLL Installer does it all in one instance without one having to worry about correct patching of system files and all. ;) And in case of WLL malfunction or whatever, simply running the installer again (in DOS mode or not) will restore the system files.
