Whats it do for Vista?

It says fixed installation for Vista, I'm running it and see no difference.

Yes I realise that, I'm wondering what the program does for Vista.

I installed it and it seemed to slow my computer down if anything.

I'm wondering if Vista needs this.

Why would it have Vista support if Vista supports dual core CPU's already?

Few months ago i ran vista x64. DCO was definitively a must for running games that are affected by what this dco, dual core optimizer fixes. Like game can at pure random run at 10000fps, so you literally run like rabbit after rabbit on springbreak with carrots up their .. A good example of this is game like painkiller. Also it is good for quake games.

If you have a x2 amd cpu you need it, if you have any other cpu you dont need it. F.ex intel cpus or amd x3, x4, or single core of course.
