tyrram Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 i recently installed xp x64 on a machine and everytime i try to download and install messanger it says i cant install that version on a system b4 service pack 2 but i have service pack 2 on it so i got this msn somewhere that said it would work with xp x64 so i tried it and it worked ok for awhile it was 8.1 but now the person i did it for is saying that itll take 8 - 10 tries sometimes before a message can be sent he gets an error message. So i went over and cleaned the regestry and uninstalled all messangers and reinstalled the one i had and it seems to be fine but he says that after awhile itll start messing up again. So i have no clue can someone pls explain this too me and tell me how to fix it ?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
