bledd Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 (edited) edit, oopsIGNORE this, was using a corrupt source When using this with an SP2 source..http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6400The following are left over and can't be removed..http://bleddyn.co.uk/forums/msfn/1.jpghttp://bleddyn.co.uk/forums/msfn/2.jpghttp://bleddyn.co.uk/forums/msfn/3.jpgMight consider it a non-issue because it's a 3rd party pack, just reporting it though Edited August 7, 2008 by bledd
TranceEnergy Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 I have reported this years ago, there are several languages nlite will not remove from xp x64 sp2. or sp1 for that matter.
Keefa Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 The exact same here with XP 64 pro. Only SP2 slipstreamed, no update packs.
TranceEnergy Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Nlite also doesnt remove all keyboard layouts. But i know nuhi knows this, have told him long time ago.
Keefa Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 So is there a list that explains which files are which languages? I need to keep the Finnish language but I don't care for the others. Thus I can't just delete all the language files or delete just some random ones.
TranceEnergy Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 So is there a list that explains which files are which languages? I need to keep the Finnish language but I don't care for the others. Thus I can't just delete all the language files or delete just some random ones.Probably, but dont know of anyone, I use NLS Reader, a small program i found because i wanted to know what nls files nlite keeps when it has tried to remove all languages. It keeps a lot of languages, such as turkish which i have no idea why it keeps. Nlite seems to do a better job if i try to remove languages twice. It does not seem to be able to remove every language in 1 process.I found NLS-Reader on www.wangz.net, it is far from perfect but its a good start, and best i found so far, if you find better program for this task, Please PM me.Thanks.
