staknhalo
Only specific processors will run a 64bit O.S. WITHIN VPC07. Usually server processors like Itanium ect.
arjuna07
Assuming your comment has refered to my old system declaration below my profile (xp x86), i changed it to what i'm running now.I dont know much about the "nick-names" of processeros, but i'm pretty sure an Intel Core2 Quad 2.5ghz should be able to run VPC07 on 64bit mode.As much i now read on Wiki i'd be even running an Itanium II or higher...Anyhow, i'm not that familiar with hardware reqs.Cross-question is there any other virutalisation possible beside VMWare? Kurt_Aust
Virtual PC does not support 64 bit operating systems as GUESTS.If you want to use a free VM to test a x64 guest, you'll have to go with VMware server.
