Use Sysprep to install locally xp

Hey

I'm just wondering if i make image file like WIM

and copy this image to HDD

i could use sysperp to install locally XP from My current OS I'm right in it ?

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying there, but unless you are installing an image into a VM/VPC session, I wouldn't recommend installing Windows while you are booted into another copy of it.

i just think to myself maybe i could make wim with both oses vista and xp together

vista setup will copy the whole wim image to hdd and after the vista is done installed it self i will use something to install xp but from the vista with app that will config it

any idea how to do that ?

It may be better to install XP to a different volume than the one Vista is on. Either way, you should boot from the CD to install XP rather than running it from Windows. Especially if its an unattended CD since it would likely attempt to erase your boot volume. If you do it the way you want to, you need to read about how to edit the BCD after imaging.
