IncredibleHerb
edit your WINNT.SIF file .. I'm sure this has been covered many times over and over .. have you read through this, Wow what a helpfull post this is I'm having exactly the same problem.I have read a bunch of posts guides etc.. but nowhere a clear answer.I'm also trying to install XP Pro with SP3 and using nLite 1.4.7.My WINNT.SIF file looks the same and is in the I836 folder.I'm trying nothing special (like drivers, programs not even tweaking) yet I can't make it work.Is this a bug wit SP3 and nLite 1.4.7? XIII
I've been doing some installs this weekend and experienced the same in every install.I was thinking it was caused by the update pack used, but perhaps it is nLite after all?(I also started with a SP3 slipstreamed disc)
XIII
Oh, in my case OEMSkipRegional is set to 1, but there is NO TimeZone entry in WINNT.SIF...
ki_supergeek
One way to find out for sure if it's caused by nLite 1.4.7 is to go back and try using nLite 1.4.6 to see if the problem still exists. I'm using 1.4.6 with no problems. Are you guys slipstreaming SP3 using nLite? It sounds like some of you may not be which could be the root of your problems. I'm not sure if and how nLite would be affected if you used a different process to integrate SP3 and then ran nLite after. Also make sure your source files are clean and unmodified. gkar
I've slipstreamed SP3 into XP Home SP1 many times with nLite 1.47, so 1.47 isn't the problem. Is your key valid? Also:[shell]CustomDefaultThemeFile="%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\My Theme (nL).theme" in your winnt.sif isn't a stock theme is it?Have you tried installing your Win XP SP3 straight off the un-nlited disk you got to see if it will install properly?
