PokerDude
I tried this program so I could minimize the installation and to install it unattended. I have tried it for three days now. All I get is "xxxxx file could not be found". The only way I can get it to run is just to do an integration with SP2.

nuhi
I hope you can help me. It looks like a great program. So you just removed the IPSEC Policy Agent?Booting from the CD or using winnt.exe?Tried the ISO in a virtual machine? Why don't you use SP3?Make sure that your installation files are clean, not previously tampered with anything, only SP slipstream is recommended, at least until you find the cause. The SP2 disk came from Microsoft.I don't know what the IPSEC Policy Agent is.I am booting from the CD. I haven't tried a virtual machine. Don't really know how. Thanks,Arnold Edited July 11, 2008 by PokerDude
CoffeeFiend
I am using SP2 because SP3 really screwed things up.Like for instance?I've heard of only 2 issues so far with SP3:-the first, is a reboot loop problem on HP disk images (HP's fault for loading an Intel driver on AMD boxes)-and the last, a problem with Microsoft Dynamics RMS (quickly solved)And that would be the complete list of issues I'm aware of so far. PokerDude
It's been a while since I used it. I don't remember all the problems, but it nearly put me out of business.I belong to several forums, and a lot people agreed with me, and uninstalled it.Arnold
CoffeeFiend
Very strange. I've heard no such complaints anywhere, or from anybody else yet. And I've personally had 0 issues thus far with any XP SP3 installations, so if you have more details...
Kelsenellenelvian
I would like to see some links too.I have used the final on oveer a 100 (well over) and have yet to see any issues when SLIPSTREAMING it.I never suggest installing a SP on a running system. nuhi
I don't know what the IPSEC Policy Agent is.Your preset shows that you only remove that component (open your own last session).Search for the correct one on the CD you installed, if it is available.Did you run nLite more than once while configuring the same CD, it is not forbidden, it's just then there would be more presets showing the change (more last sessions in the CD root)? PokerDude
There is a lot of presets on the CD. The last session looks entirely different than the one in my presets folder. Should I have reformated it before rerecording it?Here is my last preset on the CD:Thanks,ArnoldLAST_SESSION.INI

PokerDude
The dependency box is checked. In the delete box it has clock.avi, yahoo.bmp, and swtchbrd.bmp. When I made my hardware support, etc. the boxes came up telling this and that needs this. I selected the "yes". so what else should I look for? nuhi
If you didn't get any warnings then obviously you are not using fresh installation files, I am done. You can choose to hate me, better than waste my time. Edited July 11, 2008 by nuhi
PokerDude
No, I don't hate you. I appreciate your help. I'm going to start over. Like I said, I am using my original installation disks, and they are "read only". I don't know how much cleaner I can get. I'll let you know. Thanks,Arnold
