Synomenon Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Is vLite fully compatible / does it work with the ISO of Vista that has SP1 in it already? I have access to this image (as do most of you I'm guessing) as a Technet subscriber. I'd like to use vLite with this ISO so I can remove things I don't need.

TranceEnergy Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I would also like to recommend this strongly. I learned it the hard way, lol. Currently as far as i have experienced, Vlite doesnt update the entire vista image/cd. However, that may also be the case because SP1 in itself is not ment to update every file on the cd. Still, it's definitively better to use that i will assume as it is from MS itself.
Tomorrow Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Yep.Its like using your wife instead of a secret lover (i wouldnt go as far as saying a prostitute tho lol)
TranceEnergy Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 That's probably the weirdest analogy i've heard in a while considering it's so much different, rofl! =)But yeah, its probably best to use it if u have it, staying on the safe side, hehe..
