jvidal Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 (edited) Hi!I decided to give HFSLIP64 a try, so I built an updated CD.Everything went fine, but after windows was installed I encountered problems with IE7.First, the "about" box shows up completely empty (blank). Second, trying to go to Microsoft update results in IE crashing (error in ieframe.dll)Third, Automatic updates wants me to have KB947864, even though I had already included it in HF.BTW, can I use cWnd.exe with regular HFSLIP as well? Thanks. Here's my log (excuse me, but due to some unknown prob. I'm not able to attach files) This file is automatically generated by HFSLIP64 © TommyP, 2005-2008 / © Tomcat76, 2008============================HOW TO REPORT A PROBLEM============================ If running into problems, refer to http://hfslip.org/64/ HFSLIP support forum: http://msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=129===============================================================================HFSLIP64 version - HFSLIP64 v1.1.3, build 64-80429HFSLIP64 path - C:\Temp\hfslip64\SOURCE OS - Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP2 EnglishMSIE version - MSIE7DRIVER32 - No updatesDRIVER64 - DRIVER.CAB updated===============================================================================Files in your HF folder:IE7MUI-x64-enu.exeIE7-WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB938127-x64-ENU.exeIE7-WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB947864-x64-ENU.exeIE7-WindowsServer2003-x64-enu.exeMUAuth.cabmuweb_site.cabWindows-KB890830-x64-V1.40.exewindowsmedia11-kb929399-v2-x64-intl.exeWindowsMedia11-KB936782-x64-ENU.exeWindowsMedia11-KB939683-x64-ENU.exeWindowsMedia11-KB941569-x64-ENU.exeWindowsMedia6-KB925398-v2-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB924667-v2-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB925148-v4-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB925902-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB927891-v5-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB929123-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB930178-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB931261-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB932168-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB932596-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB933729-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB935839-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB935840-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB936021-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB941202-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB941568-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB941644-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB941693-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB943055-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB943460-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB943485-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB944653-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB945553-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB946026-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB948590-x64-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB948881-x64-ENU.exeWindowsUpdateAgent30-x64.exewmp11-windowsxp-x64-enu.exeFiles in your HFSVCPACK folder:Files in your HFSVCPACK_SW1 folder:Files in your HFTOOLS folder:boot.bincWnd.execygwin1.dllHFSLIP64_POST_DelObsBin.cmdHFSLIP64_PRE_SWFlash9.cabHFSLIP64_PRE_SWFlash9.cmdHFSLIP64_PRE_TZ4.cabHFSLIP64_PRE_TZ4.cmdmkisofs.exeFiles in your REPLACE folder:C:\Temp\hfslip64\REPLACE\AMD64\MPLAYER2.IN_===============================================================================HFSLIP64 run time: 14m15s Edited May 12, 2008 by Tomcat76
Tomcat76 Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 (edited) Please remove IE7MUI-x64-enu.exe. I don't know if it's the source of your problem, but it's definitely not supported.cWnd.exe is supported with both versions of HFSLIP.If you tried to attach HFSLIP.LOG directly, that won't work. You need to ZIP it first. Edited May 12, 2008 by Tomcat76
jvidal Posted May 12, 2008 Author Posted May 12, 2008 Thanks, TC. I'll try without the MUI for IE7.And yes, I tried to attach the log directly, thanks for the tip!bye!
jvidal Posted May 12, 2008 Author Posted May 12, 2008 Ok, removed the MUI, re-built and re-installed and it worked like a charm. Thanks again, TC and keep up the good work!
