JulianL
Not strictly nLite but I think/hope the answer will be valuable for others.....I just went the the Microsoft Technet Plus area (that you can still browse if not a subscriber, you just can't download) and I found the ISOs for XP Pro retail with SP3 included that now available for download if you're a subscriber (I'm not, but I know someone who is). I'm confused though because there are 4 versions available and I can't find a description of the differences. Could comeone please explain to me what the "K" and the "N" signify in the 4 versions below (basically cut and pasted from the Technet Website with a bit of tidy-up):Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 (x86) - CD (English)en_windows_xp_professional_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-80428.iso 589.14 2008-05-02Date Posted (UTC):5/1/2008 11:01:59 PMSHA1:1c735b38931bf57fb14ebd9a9ba253ceb443d459ISO/CRC:FFFFFFFFWindows XP Professional KN with Service Pack 3 (x86) - CD (English)en_windows_xp_professional_kn_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-92432.iso 597.14 2008-05-02Date Posted (UTC):5/1/2008 11:20:54 PMSHA1:29aafdd5abd8cc48eb43d262797d80676e4993fbISO/CRC:FFFFFFFFWindows XP Professional K with Service Pack 3 (x86) - CD (English)en_windows_xp_professional_k_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-92430.iso 615.36 2008-05-02Date Posted (UTC):5/1/2008 11:20:54 PMSHA1:8d94e2f006de74defbfc363fb6aaa58af7a1b9a4ISO/CRC:FFFFFFFFWindows XP Professional N with Service Pack 3 (x86) - CD (English)en_windows_xp_professional_n_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-92445.iso 597.84 2008-05-02Date Posted (UTC):5/1/2008 11:28:14 PMSHA1:569b84652fd1b43505d9a8efe8667e456816880cISO/CRC:FFFFFFFFHere's the URL if it's useful to anyone: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/subscri...aspx?pm=p%3a140- Julian

m99
Does nLite work with the N-version? And is it possible to get MTP-devices to work with it without installing WMP10/11 ?
JulianL
Thank you Fox and Angelico; mystery solved!By the way, in my defence, Google most definitely wasn't my friend in this case but I really cannot work out why. Maybe it had an internal glitch on my search query because Googling "XP Professional N" came up with a total of about 6 hits when I first tried it, all but 1 in languages other than English and none useful. Various other google terms also yielded nothing useful. I just tried Googling "XP Professional N" again and I got plenty of hits. Strange.- Julian
