For,

Calculator - Power calc

Notepad - metapad, notepad +

And for default icons - ?

shell32.dll - ?

Can any one tell me how to replace the puppy in search windows, i want to have a different one (say for example, my photo) how to do that.

I want to replace the xp professional cd components to the maximum extent. I am working for education department, and want to show how to make a custom xp cd to my colleagues.

the puppy in the search dialog uses MS Agent -there others but im not sure if you can change it

Use search and you will find links to custom made shell32.dll. Or (it's not my ideea, i just quote), install Vista Transformation Pack on another comp, or virtual machine and copy it from there, that shell32.dll, or from any shell pack you find. I hope is usefull. Cheers!
